He continued his formal violin studies till 1994 with several leading musicians a.o the cellist Siegfried Palm, the pianist Bruno Canino and with members of two internationally acclaimed string quartets: The Orlando Quartet and Borodin Quartet.
From 1992 till 1999 Marco Roosink extensively performed a wide range of chamber music repertoire at concerts in The Netherlands and toured England, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and The Middle East. From 1999 he spent some years working and living in Asia, moving to Amsterdam in 2001, from which time on he started laying the foundations, together with the pianist Geoffrey Madge, for a new kind of ensemble that resulted in the creation of Camerata Busoni in 2006.
Besides performing chamber music he nourishes an interest in literature, language, Asian food and contemporary philosophy; Richard Rorty and Gilbert Ryle in particular. Marco Roosink lives in Amsterdam with his wife Jola and cat Smoesjes.
